From the 1st of March Rhinecontainer increases her fleet with an extra barge.
The ms Dilsberg is 135 meter long, 11.40 meter wide and can transport 268 TEU with 3400 Tons.

Transbox takes over Trans Shuttle
All container activities, such as commercial booking, forwarding, storage and handling, which Trans Shuttle has performed up untill now, will be taken over by Transbox from 1. January 2012 on in accordance with a recenlty undersigned agreement.

As from the summer of 1980 the Bosman family owns and deploys container carrying barge vessels. This means that this family belongs to the group of real pioneers in the barge container industry. Consequently the Bosman family has also experienced the startup of almost all inland barge terminals along the river Rhine.

Rhine blocked at Oberwesel in the Loreley
Since yesterday evening MV Alma, loaded with grit, blocks the river Rhine at Oberwesel in the Loreley at kilometer intersection 552.1.
